- The Diploma in Education (D. Ed) course has been designed to improve the elementary level teacher workforce in India. The D.Ed. course offered to the candidates caters to the needs of elementary level education.
- This course is offered in association with Central Institute of Vocational Training (CIVT), Delhi an autonomous board, through distance education.
- The candidates, after completing 2 years long academic program, will become eligible to work at elementary level schools, nurseries and similar educational institutes that impart elementary education.
- On successful completion of the Diploma in Education course, candidates may work as elementary level teachers at educational institutes.
- D.Ed. professionals are also eligible and equipped to start their own nursery or day care centre. Apart from that, private coaching and tuition classes are other forms of self employment available in front of them.
